When Internet took off in the early 90’s Einar got hooked and spent all his available time learning webdesign and software development. He started on a 1 year course in web development at a private school in Oslo. The main teacher left for a new job after 2 months and Einar was asked to take over as teacher for the class.

He started his first IT company and worked as an IT consultant and teacher in Oslo during the mid 90’s. Ericsson, TV2, Telenor the Norwegian defense department and Scandinavian Airlines was some of his clients. Many of the features in our new line of products was inspired from his work with dynamic pricing for airlines.

At the end of the Dotcom era he raised a 10 MNOK funding and started his first software company, producing software for cross-publishing content to mobile, web, TV’s, digital signage and print. Unfortunately, this company went out of business when Dotcom crashed.

In the early 2000, Einar moved to New York. There he met Ashley Heather and they were partners in several companies since. In the mid 2000 Einar moved to London where he lived for 3 years and for a while in Chennai, India. There he met KBala, one of the best software engineers he worked with.

In 2012 he founded Adaptive Media AS. Two years later, Adaptive Media was founded in India. Since then Einar managed development of software, apps and web sites. Including projects for many international brands. Usually as a subcontractor for agencies in New York.

Einar is also a passionate photographer. You can check out some of his work on einarbreen.com.
